Wondering what your child(ren) can do while you study? Academia Falcon has programs designed especially for kids with qualified staff who are specialists in working with children.  The school grounds include a garden, play area and miniature golf that children can enjoy while their parents are in classes.  If you prefer, we can help you contact someone to care for your kids and can also suggest activities in Guanajuato that are appropriate for the whole family. School-aged children
Interested in having the whole family can learn Spanish at the same time? Academia Falcon has developed its own elementary Spanish immersion program especially for children aged 6-12.  Over 120 children learn Spanish with us each year. Our kids program consists of three hours a day at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, and makes full use of games, visual materials, videos, popular songs, “rondas” and lots of practice. The program also includes 2 hours per week of interaction with Mexican children. This allows for greater immersion, not only in the Spanish language, but also in Mexican culture.  Children also take part in celebrations such as “Día de los Reyes”, “Día del Niño” and traditional customs such as “Posadas”. Teenagers
Ready to travel with your teenager? Academia Falcon provides excellent opportunities for youth to learn Spanish and immerse themselves in Mexican culture.  Classes are interactive and include lots of opportunity to practice what you have learned in conversation.  In addition to language classes, students may also enroll in cultural classes such as cooking and dance.  The school grounds include a café, miniature golf and gardens for relaxing. Our staff will work with parents to enforce their limits while providing teens with a unique cultural experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.  The school also offers evening and weekend activities such as movies, fiestas and field trips.   Top

College Students
Looking for the study abroad experience that is right for you?  You may choose from a variety of  Spanish language classes PLUS over 15 different cultural subjects, such as Mexican cooking, Latin American Dance and Pre-Hispanic Art.  We will work with your university so that you can receive credits for your classes taken at Falcon.  Guanajuato is an exciting city with great night life.  There is always something going on: music in the plazas, street parades, dance clubs, cultural events throughout the year.  The school is located 10 minutes from downtown and is also easily accessible to the surrounding mountains.  Top

Adults
What is there for adults? More than half of our students are over the age of 30 and 40% are over the age of 40. You will be in small classes  (1-5 students) with other students who have a similar level of Spanish.  Additionally, Guanajuato is the cultural center of central Mexico with multiple theaters, museums, street parades, markets, music in the plazas, religious fiestas, dance clubs and cultural events throughout the year. The school is located in  a beautiful, tranquil neighborhood, 10 minutes from downtown and close to the mountains which are excellent hiking. Top
