All classes are held Monday through Friday, except on Mexican
holidays.
Tuition Prices for One-on-One Classes
(Each session lasts 55 minutes.)
1 session daily: US$70 per week
2 sessions daily: US$140 per week
3 sessions daily: US$210 per week
Private classes are subject to teacher
availability.

Tuition Prices for Small Group Classes

3 sessions daily: US$85 per week
4 sessions daily: US$100 per week
5 sessions daily: US$110 per week
6 sessions daily: US$120 per week
Tuition Prices for the Long-Term Study Program
(Each session lasts 55 minutes.)
This program allows students to sign up for 10 to 16 weeks of
classes, consisting of 1 private session and 3 group sessions per day,
and at a cost significantly lower than our
regular rates.
For example, 16 weeks of classes
at the normal rate would be US$2480:
3 hours of group instruction,
5 days a week @
US$85 x 16 weeks = US$1360 US, plus 1 private session per day, 5 days a week
@ US$70 x 16 weeks = US$1120.
With the long-term study program you would pay only US$1860,
representing a saving of US$620.
Contact us for price information on courses shorter than 16 weeks.
(We offer this program from August to May only; it is not available
for June and July. Tuition for this program is non-refundable, however if
you have to leave, we will grant you a credit for future study.)
Prices for Home Stays
US$22 per day, single room (includes 3 meals)
US$19 per day, shared room (includes 3 meals)
Our Dormitory
Staying in our dormitory lets you enjoy the convenience of living
close to your classes. You can choose a private or shared room. The
rooms are well lit, clean, and spacious. Each has a comfortable
bed, desk and closet. Some also have a private bathroom. Laundry
facilities are also available on campus. The dormitory has a beautiful
view of the mountains, offers a quiet place to study and the ability to
meet and socialize easily with other students. Make sure you
plan ahead in order to reserve a room!
Prices range from $110 pesos to $400 pesos (US$11 to US$40) per
night (prices depend on the facilities, ie some rooms have a private
bathroom).

Apartments
We have a number of apartments available for short- and long-term rentals.
Prices range from $200 -$600 per month depending on the unit and the length of stay. Please contact us with your travel
dates and requirements to find out availability and prices.
Registration and Payment
Housing and tuition deposits must be paid as outlined
on the Registration Form . We
accept deposits in US$ in the form of money orders or cashiers
checks without an expiration date. Personal checks will
not be accepted. Please make your checks payable to "Jorge
Barroso, Academia Falcon". You can fax us a copy
of your check with a copy of your registration e-mail. This will
save you the cost (US$40) of paying DHL or other express mailing
services. When you get here you can give the check to the person
in charge of registration. If you choose to buy a money order
with an EXPIRATION DATE,
you must send it immediately by Federal Express, UPS, DHL or Airborne
Express. We are not responsible if your money order gets lost
in slow oldfashon normal postal service.
Students coming from Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and any other
countries besides the USA and Canada do not need to pay a deposit for
tuition or housing in advance, but should pay them in cash on the first day
of classes. If you have to cancel your registration, please inform us in
writing at least two weeks before your classes and housing is due to start
so that we can try to fill the vacancy.
Please plan ahead and have the money you will need for school fees when
you arrive in Guanajuato. These fees include:
- A one-time only, lifetime registration fee of US$75
- The balance of the tuition at weekly rates
- A refundable textbook deposit of US$25 or US$30
- Fees for any accommodation, other than home stays, that you ask
Academia Falcon to arrange.
Field trips and cultural events cost extra (inquire on
arrival).
Materials are not included in class fees, so you may be required to pay
for them separately.
Home stay payments: You must make your own arrangements to pay your
family for the balance of your housing expenses.
Payment is accepted in cash, either in PESOS or US$. Personal
checks will not be accepted. All paid tuition and deposits are
non-refundable, but may be applied to future study if you change your
plans.
Please also bring a driverīs license picture size (ie small enough to fit onto an ID
card) photo for your student ID.
Although we have not increased our tuition fees for group classes in the last five years, all prices are subject to change. All prices are in US dollars.
School Schedule
Classes are held Monday through Friday with the exception of
the following Mexican holidays: January 1, February 5, March 21, Holy Week
Thursday and Friday, May 1, September 16, November 2 and 20, and December 25.
We don't charge for holidays.

For classes and placement exams, please go to the school at
this address on Monday at 8:30 am. You will receive further details in
your letter of confirmation. The school's office hours are 8:30
am -
7:30 pm (Monday to Friday) and 10:00 am
- 2:00 pm
(Saturday).
